The speeds involved are ridiculous and each track is full of hairpin turns, forcing precise reactions or you’ll crash! Your boost meter is also your life bar, so boost too much, and you’re toast, but boost too little and you’ll lose! And cheating A.I.? You betcha’! Why do they get unlimited boost?! But, if you can hone your skills as a racer, you’ll experience one of the tightest, speediest racing games around. At least, if you don’t Falcon Punch your system out of frustration.

Some may be surprised to see Sekiro not included in games listed in the number three spot. The truth is, while Sekiro is also a FromSoftware release, it’s not a ‘Souls’ game. While it shares many similarities with Dark Souls, Elden Ring, etc, this is a hard-as-nails single-player-only adventure. In a Souls game, you can summon allies to help you take down a difficult boss, essentially letting them share the load. However, in Sekiro, players either “git good” or they die trying – many times.

The World’s Hardest Game is an addictive puzzle game consisting of 30 incredibly challenging levels. The goal is simple: move your red block to the other end of the level whilst collecting any yellow coins scattered along the way. Although it sounds easy, there are many dangerous obstacles to dodge. The game requires quick movements and logical thinking. Do not play this game!

Yes, you can blast your way through most encounters, but I spent my demo ghosting past Stormtroopers, triggering distractions, and knocking out the occasional gangster. In the early chapters Kay could only take a handful of shots before going down, and healing vials weren’t plentiful. Taking on two or three troopers was no problem, but any more and I usually wiped back to checkpoint.
