Starting in Birmingham 2022, there was no distinction between official and invitational sports. Host cities are still able to select up to five optional sports, but they are designated «official» sports, rather than invitational. World war z game
World War Z is a game that I played on Game Pass a few years ago with a friend of mine and we had a lot of fun with it. The gameplay loop of killing zombies (known as Zekes in the WWZ universe) in incredibly high numbers with all sorts of big guns and explosives was an absolute blast.
While Left 4 Dead is a product of its time, with bare bones customization if any at all. World War Z adds more modern game mechanics like a class system which adds a lot of technical aspects to the game that are pretty helpful. There are even extra classes added for the online multiplayer modes. But for the co-op, we stuck with the classes that would help us the most. The one I used was Slasher which was insanely helpful for co-op. That’s because of a trait you can earn once leveling up the class that allows you to be immune to friendly fire. The Slasher class is mainly used for melee combat so it’s very easy to be shot at since you’ll be right up against the zombies your teammates are trying to kill. It’s helpful to pick a class you like and stick with it since you can level them up, which gives you the ability to use traits like the friendly fire immunity that’s so helpful.

I remember really trying to shape it into the Left 4 Dead-sized hole in my heart at launch but struggling with performance issues and the relative lack of content, so I’m hopeful all that’s been sorted out by now. If not, at the very least I’ll get to look around and go, ‘Hey that’s where I live!’ and be thankful that, for the time being, rattlesnakes and bad drivers are still the most dangerous things around here.

Dodger Stadium was the first Major League Baseball stadium since the initial construction of the original Yankee Stadium to be built using 100% private financing, and the last until Oracle Park in San Francisco opened in 2000. Ground was broken for Dodger Stadium on September 17, 1959. The tops of local ridges were removed, and the soil was used to fill in Sulfur and Cemetery Ravines to provide a level surface for a parking lot and the stadium. A local elementary school (Palo Verde) was simply buried rather than demolished, and sits beneath the parking lot northwest of third base. A total of 8 million cubic yards (6,100,000 m3) of earth were moved in the process of building the stadium. Game 6 of the 1986 World Series between the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox went into extra innings as well. The Red Sox scored 2 runs in the top of the 10th inning to take a 5–3 lead and then got two quick outs with no one on base in the bottom of the 10th. With the Red Sox one out away from their first world championship in 68 years, reliever Calvin Schiraldi gave up three straight singles (to Gary Carter, Kevin Mitchell, and Ray Knight), with Carter scoring on Knight’s single to cut the lead to one run with runners on first and third. Red Sox manager John McNamara replaced Schiraldi with Bob Stanley, who then threw a two-strike wild pitch to Mookie Wilson to allow Mitchell to score the tying run and move Knight to second base. The wild pitch was particularly notable in that it completely turned the tables on the Red Sox from what they had done while facing the Angels weeks earlier, as they themselves had now blown a situation in which they were one strike away from winning the series. Wilson subsequently hit a ground ball to first base that rolled through the legs of first baseman Bill Buckner, allowing Knight to score the winning run from second base and sending the Series to a Game 7 where the Mets completed the comeback. Had Buckner not committed this error, the game would have either remained tied with runners on first and third for the next batter (if Wilson was safe) or would have gone to an 11th inning (if Wilson had been out).
