New world game
There are two locations where you can teleport yourself from any other location in the world. These are the Inn and your personal house. Inns are found in every settlement and can be checked into for any amount of time, but you can only check in to one Inn at once.
You will need to choose a data center and server to play on before creating your character. The data center represents a physical location to which you’ll connect, while the server is a specific world within that data center that hosts its own unique set of players, player-based organizations, and a unique world state which is specific to that server. Characters on one server cannot cross over and play with characters from another server. Some players have the ability to transfer characters between servers on the same data center.
One of the main things you’ll do in New World is engage with its robust trade skill systems. Since there are no NPCs to sell you important items, you’ll need to find the materials and develop the crafting skills to scour them for yourself. Preparing for a life of survival in the wilderness, you’ll need to get good at chopping trees, plucking herbs, mining ores, and fishing for fresh fish.
